Twenty years ago, this customer bought their first Aerolift vacuum lifter. A lifter with a maximum capacity of ten tons. After the satisfying experience with their current machine, they returned to Aerolift for a second vacuum lifter. A vacuum lifter that looks quite the same, but with some extra options….

Lifting conical-shaped products
Designing safe and efficient lifting solutions is sometimes quite a challenge. Especially if every product is a little bit different. However, with our experience and know-how, we find the most efficient and safe solution.
Conical-shaped product
The tower of a wind turbine is a great example of a conical-shaped object. On the ground, the diameter of the tower is much larger than at the top. Every element of the tower deviates a little more and more. The precast element on top has completely other dimensions than an element on the ground. Designing one machine capable of lifting the complete range is then indeed a challenge.
Overcoming the challenge
Coming up with a safe and efficient lifting solution for these situations is what makes Aerolift unique. A puzzle to solve. A search for the perfect combination of the number of suction pads, shape, distance, and adjustability. We designed a vacuum lifter that is adjustable to meet all shapes of the precast elements to be lifted.
