Lifting solutions for
Setting new standards in heavy lifting
With over 60 years of experience in lifting and handling solutions for loads ranging 1 to 200 tons, we combine deep industry knowledge with innovative engineering. Since our start in precast concrete in 1963, we have expanded to serve key sectors such as metal, tunnelling, pipes, and wind energy. By asking the right questions and understanding workflow in detail, we deliver solutions that exceed expectations in performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.

FAQ
Yes. Aerolift machines are engineered and manufactured in accordance with internationally recognized standards, including:
- Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
- EN13155 — Cranes – Safety – Non-fixed load lifting attachments
- ISO 3834-2 — Certified welding quality standards
Absolutely. Safety is a fundamental part of every Aerolift solution.
All Aerolift systems come with built-in visual and acoustic safety monitoring. In case of a power failure, the vacuum remains active for a minimum of 20 minutes, allowing enough time to safely lower the load and take necessary actions. Click here to read all about our safety measures.
In the event of a power failure, the load remains safely attached for at least 20 minutes. Aerolift vacuum valves are engineered in-house and maintain their position without power, while visual and acoustic alarms immediately notify the operator.
A wide variety of materials and products can be handled with vacuum technology, provided:
- the surface is sufficiently airtight,
- the product can withstand its own weight during lifting,
- and enough surface area is available for vacuum gripping.
Aerolift requires:
- approximately 0.25 m² per ton for horizontal lifting,
- and approximately 0.40 m² per ton for tilting applications.
No. Aerolift vacuum lifters are designed to handle uneven surfaces as well.
Our specially developed rubber seals adapt to surface irregularities within defined limits. For example, broom-finished concrete can typically be handled without issues.
There is no specific lifting limit, provided there is enough surface area available. In practice, the lifting capacity is mainly determined by factors such as crane capacity and financial resources.
Yes. Aerolift vacuum lifters can be configured to handle a predefined range of pipe diameters.
Based on pipe dimensions, weight, and coating specifications, we optimize the vacuum lifter to handle multiple pipe diameters with as few suction pads as possible.
